This accessibility statement applies to the Hippalot website (hippalot.fi).
The ARX Cultural Centre for Children and Youth is responsible for the accessibility of the website. The technical implementation of the website is carried out by Aatos Media. Accessibility is regularly assessed using the Wave tool (https://wave.webaim.org/).
Accessibility status of online services
The design and implementation of the Hippaloi website follows the WCAG 2.1 guidelines for accessibility.
The website meets the required accessibility criteria of level AA. Significant errors and planned corrections are described below. They use the classification of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.
1.1.1 Non-textual content
Some of the images on the site are missing alternative/descriptive text. Correction work is ongoing.
Feedback on accessibility
Accessibility-related feedback and questions can be submitted via the City of Hämeenlinna’s electronic feedback channel. Feedback will be answered within two weeks.
Monitoring
In Finland, compliance with the accessibility requirements of the Accessibility Act is monitored by the Regional State Administrative Agencies of Southern Finland.
